The Professional Treasure Hunter’s Historical Society & Streeters BONE #24 was the best BONE ever. Joe Tessandori’s George Washington Inaugural button won best find for all hunts.72 attended Sat Night Awards banquet &64 attended Sunday’s Seeded hunt. Jim Corbett won the $1,000 treasure chest
This year BONE provided a hot dog lunch with Chris Redmond as chef.
Saturday’s Workshops & Hobby Show Great Workshops & Ct Todd was best. Many displays metal detector finds, club & businesses booths Including Streeter booths for & Minelab, Garrett, Whites, Fisher, & Detector Pro. XP Deus had own booth. Glenn Watson, Hillsville, VA (a first Streeter metal detector customer & formerly of Keene, NH) provided an all day Electrolysis workshop demonstration. ICMJ gold panning contest with prospector Craig Gifford & Frank Neal was won by Hank Walter. of Riverside, RI. Best find contest won by Terry Smith with U.S. 1823 Bust half dollar. Silent auction had a Minelab Excalibur, GO Find 40 & XTerra 505, Teknetics T-2, Garrett AT Pro, & items from Detector Pro, Ron & Gold Digger, Dennis DeWeerdt, and many others.
Saturday night Awards Banquet 26 were inducted into BONE 24 Hall of Fame including our youngest . Julianne Karbonik.
