Been studying the CTX 3030 handbook by Andy Sabich while I wait for spring
A lot of great information you won't get from your manual or YouTube.
Iron wrap around = use minimal discrimination and avoid lots of iron junk without sacrificing good targets.
Sensitivity = using manual sensitivity (around 28) I can ID targets at 15 inches
Saltwater = not just for beaches...if the ground is really chattery you can turn on saltwater and greatly reduce or stop the annoying chatter
Audio bins = customize you targets to sound whatever way you prefer (amazing feature)
These are just some of the things from the book that I found helpful.
There's also tips from expert users (like CTTodd) that are priceless.
If you own a CTX 3030 stop by Streeters and get the book!!
It's the best accessory to have and well worth the small price!!
Note: this book is also available for Etrac and XP Deus
