My name is Jim, I live in NJ, as my user name suggests. I am using a Mine Lab CTX. I have been doing a lot of land detecting and I am looking to get into some more shallow water hunting. I am a certified open water PADY diver. I never used a metal detector while diving, not yet. I am looking to get into deep water diving in the future. This is one of the reasons I chose this site. Thank you all for letting me register.

Welcome to the forum Jim. I've never detected underwater either, but it should open up a whole new world of detecting for you. Good luck.
