I am still playing with the Minelab X terra 505 you sent me, lol. It does well in areas where trash isn't an issue. I still think the ATP is more effective, but that could be due to the DD coil, and the higher frequency. Still the Minelab is holding its own, you can really tell each signal tone apart, and the volume doesn't fade with depth, so I hear every signal. I am using the grey ghost original headset, these give me the ability to lower the volume and still hear everything, with the different frequency settings, on the headset, it helps me determine the midtones, and false/ large object signals. I think I will be ordering the DD coil soon, I am still trying to figure out which one will work best for me here in Kansas. Of course, the finisher, still is, and always will be, Betty the B. my MXT. lol.
