That's a nice bell. Especially if it still has the clapper.
Keep the faith
Nice bell! You can shine it up easy....non-scratch pad will do wonders. Nice job!!! Erin
I still have the clapper but it is not attached. Clapper soaking in olive oil right now. Real rusty but it seems to be all there except for the attaching ring. It looks like the bell is made of Nickel?
Any time out, no matter how many minutes, its a blessing when you are almost old.
We left May 12 and I was home May 20, 2015. We actually metal detected in the Caribbean sea May 13 to May 18 and in the sea just about every day before 8:00 am. Without Carter it would have been impossible to get into some hotels beaches. When he found out the law was on our side, he was persistence, and if no was the answer he found us a way to get in. We hunted daily, no matter the weather until I would quit or at 5:00 pm. Most embarrassing for me, as was unable, at first to get into or out of a boat or up a semi steep water's edge bank. I cursed, bitched, talked myself into these embarrassing situations, all for one 14K diamond ring. Its worth it for the chance of a lifetime, to hunt with the pro's I respect the most. Its enjoyable to see the eyes of the lucky finders and especially gratifying to see new comer and first time Caribbean hunter Nigel and soon to be great water hunter when he discovered his first 2 gold rings were 18k. The trips most valuable find was the 12 gram 950 plat ring by Carter, how ever Chris did find a 14 gram 14k ring.
When you organize these trips, its difficult to be humble, when there are hunters not as good as you and many times we do not report all our finds. This way I always come in last making next to last, "happier."
